WAGFEST TESTIMONIAL FROM AUTHOR DONEAREUM S. WINSTON
(pictured below: Doneareum (left), Erica Douglas (right)

Wagfest Family, I thank all of you for inviting me to this wonderful event and allowing me to be accepted and embraced as one of your own. Growing up in foster homes and always bouncing around from home to home was very difficult for me. You meet people, think you have found love and a family, then they kick your behind to the curb and say it's your fault. I feel like all the aunts, cousins, uncles, brothers, and sisters I never had are all in this circle and new in my heart. It's been a blessing for me to be here because I endured my motor tearing up in my car, moving, and just everyday life and financial struggles. I prayed and thought about what it was going to take for me to be here, and it didn't seem like I was going to make it. At the last minute, I took my monthly bill money and said "forget it!" This is an opportunity for me to go to a place where I'm wanted and can meet people working even harder than I felt I was, to see their dreams become a reality.

I've been inspired, encouraged, enlightened and entertained since the day we all met, talked and laughed face to face. I've
had a blast watching the steppers slide and glide across the floors. I was on the bus riding in an endless circle trying to get back to my room until I met Erica.

Shani has been very sweet, and comforting to talk to. Tra has been like the big brother I never had. Felecia, Bonnie, Kerry, Karen, April, and Sapphire have been like uncles and aunts to me making sure I've been comfortable and happy. Nola has been that cool friend to have fun and talk about guidance with.

All of you have made me feel loved although we didn't know a whole lot about each other except we've come here to support this vision of Wagfest.

I thank all of you for the love you have given me and I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to see that the two books I wrote alone with an empty heart was done for that empty void to be filled and embraced in time by you. I am glad I came out and I will work hard towards getting my dues in order for my membership, because I will see you all on October in Atlanta (insert smiley face).

Thank you for everything, Love Doneareum S. Winston

I love doing business with you guys. You'd be surprise sometimes when working in the music industry how many times I have to stay on people just to get the business done.  I so wish everyone was like WagFest!  ~ Kelly Adolph, Brian O'Neal Manager

Thanks again for the table Saturday at the WagFest Bazaar. I really enjoyed meeting so many great authors and people. I was caught up in Master Pimp's book "Church Pimps," which is a great read by the way. I had a nice time and look forward to more opportunities with you guys. Y'all are awesome and what you are doing is so uplifting! Thanks again, keep in touch. ~ Erica D. Respress, Community Recruiter Adoption/Foster Care, Hamilton Co. Job And Family Services
