About Me

I'm a Brooklyn Native, and the author of the award-winning Brookwater's Curse vampire novel series.  The main character is Christian Brookwater, an 1860s Georgia plantation slave who becomes a vampire and has all sorts of wild adventures.  In Volume One we see Christian kill Klansmen, fall in love (more than once), fight werewolves and unite with vampire samurais to rescue a little girl from an evil werewolf prince in West Africa.  In Volume Two, mysteries from the first book are explained, while Christian helps his samurai friends fight a war in Japan against the world's first vampires.

It may sound a little complicated, but trust me, it's worth it.

When I am not writing about vampires, I am blogging about various social issues and concerns, either on Facebook, Myspace, Blackplanet or my own website-- www.brookwaterscurse.com.  Sometimes, right-wing nutjobs actually try to talk smack, but I shut 'em down!  I also stage manage various TV shows and music performances in the tri-state area, and writing, directing and producing a series of 'webisodes' on YouTube that feature me as a retired hitman who has to return to work after his brother tries to cheat a crime boss.  It's all over YouTube under SVP's The Poker Game, SVP's The Reluctant Hitman and SVP's The Nightmare, The Whorehouse and The Killing Spree.

I had a ball in Seattle and Atlanta and  will see you all in Louisiana!

Cheers,

SVP

NIANAF October 2010 Event details coming soon!

Wagfest ~ NIANAF 2010

The Wagfest Group, LLC was established in 2007, to provide educational, networking, and business opportunities for self-published authors, initially. Over the years, Wagfest met in various cities throughout the United States during which an allegiance was formed between diverse social media marketing and networking communities. The cities visited were: New Jersey (2007), Seattle and Cincinnati (2008), and Seattle and Atlanta (2009). The adoption of the philosophy, there is “no I in Wagfest; it is a team sport,” was formed, which allowed Wagfest to broadened its focus to include entertainers and entrepreneurs to collaborate collectively with a high level of commitment in harmony to and with like-minded, consumers, markets, and fans. In 2010, Wagfest in association with its newly formed, National Independent Artist Networking Alliance Foundation has selected the great city of Shreveport in Louisiana to launch its inaugural annual National Independent Artist Networking Alliance event; September 16-19, 2010.

Wagfest NIANAF Vision

The vision of the National Independent Artist Networking Alliance Foundation is to enhance, foster, commercialize the mainstream value and significance of independent artists by informing the community and consumers of its existence, products, and services along with providing youth group participation, volunteerism, quality programs, events, and networking opportunities.
