About Me
I am Founder/CEO of a non-profit organization. We are composed of a group of woman from diverse occupations, uniting together, supporting each other and empowering each other so that we may successfully fulfill our roles as mentors, facilitators and advisors to children from 6 years old to young adulthood. We provide scholarships, financial assistance for kids of low-income family to attend summer camps, we assist/participate in raising money for other non-profit organizations. Our future plans include providing an after-school program for kids where they can get tutoring, mentoring and participate in positive and therapeutic recreational activiites. We will also provide job-preparedness skills for the young adults and serve as a support group for women. Our overall goal is to assist in building a strong foundation for our future generation.
I am also a plus size model who have been blessed to work with people like Douglas Says, Lonie Cisco and Denise Robinson. I have recently met some wonderful designers like Qristyl Frazier and Henry Jackson. I utilize my connection with the fashion world to have a fundraising fashion show on Labor day weekend. The proceeds from the show goes toward our scholarship fund. I am also currently pursing my nursing degree. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. I use to make clothes for Jamaicans in Virginia from the early to late 90's! I had fashion shows set up at Jamaican clubs here in VA back then. Also, one of my male characters in my book is from Kingston, Jamaica. If you know of a single one, call me gurl! Buck! Buck! Buck!
You are so right but that's how it's supposed to be. We all help each other. I have spent more time on this site than I ever have. LOL
